What to Bring:
To fully enjoy your Matahuru Valley Walk, it’s a good idea to come prepared. We’ve put together a list of suggested items below to help you get ready for the walk, ensuring you’re comfortable and well-equipped for the experience ahead.

Tramping boots (strongly recommended)
Walking Poles (optional but preferred)
Day pack (big enough to hold lunch, warm clothes and water)
Towel (for your waterhole swim)
Swimwear
A large drink bottle (2 litre capacity recommended) and a Thermos (optional) if you would like a hot drink
Sun hat & beanie
Few changes of socks
Personal locater beacon (optional)
Clothing Suitable for walking
Good-sized lunch box, plus a small container if you would like to take left over salad on your walk
Toiletries
Camera/phone

Bring your own nibbles and refreshments/alcoholic beverages
