Three working sheep and beef farmers in North Waikato have recently diversified to offer a fully catered private walk. It gives tourists and walkers an authentic ‘agritourism’ experience. They’ve planted 75k natives over the past 4 years and it’s an example of using farmland in a sustainable, environmental way.

  • "After A Day's Walk Everything Has Twice Its Usual Value"

This was our 10th anniversary of our gang of Girls' annual glamping trips around NZ. Many Photos were taken of the beautiful landscape and the creatures that roam this land. We so appreciated this cosy accommodation, the superb meals and the wonderful warm hospitality. And how lovely it was to be met just before the last stream crossing by young Connor, Lucy and their 'Super Mum' Kirsten. Love the pearls of wisdom along the way.

Thank you Matahuru. Our trip here Was Priceless!
