The Price

One Night Experience

2 days of private walks - perfect for the walkers who are short on time.

  • One Nights accommodation

  • Bedding and towels provided

  • BYO lunch on Day One and all other meals provided

  • 2 walks Full Day Walk and Half Day Walk

Two Night Retreat

Enjoy our relaxed country retreat - the setting, the walk, the food, the birdsong - this package is perfect for a group of ‘active relaxers!’

  • Two Nights accommodation

  • Bedding and towels provided

  • All meals provided

  • 2 walks Full Day Walk and Half Day Walk

  • Non Walkers are welcome to relax at Tui Ridge while rest of the group are walking

Please note 4 person minimum for bookings.

If you would like to make a booking with 3 walkers or less please contact us and we can let you know available space with another group. 

If you would like to make a booking for 1 walker please contact us or refer to our solo hiker options which we have both one night and two night packages available.

To hold dates while your organize your group please contact us and we will hold these for 7 days.

If you have 8 or more people the use of Tui Ridge will be exclusively yours for the dates you choose.

Solo Hikers

Here at Matahuru Valley Walk, we have noticed there are many solo walkers out there unable to book a private walk due to the minimum of 2 walkers often needed - so we have decided to offer this fantastic opportunity to come and enjoy the Matahuru Valley Walk and meet some new walking buddies at the same time! 

Everything is included as it would normally be but you will be meeting like minded solo walkers.
